Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
My storage facility increases my rent several times a year. The rate I am paying now is ridiculous. I was quoted my total due plus late fees and told I need to pay in cash by Thursday. Today they said an additional $125 fee was added, and they won't remove it regardless of the fact an employee gave me a different total yesterday and said I could pay within three days. I am paying $186 per month for a 5x10 space! Because I'm two months late, my total right now for two months is $574!!!! Shouldn't there be regulations?

1. Throw out 1/2 of your useless dreck.
2. If there's anything left, get a truck and move it to a storage space that charges $50 for a 5 x 10 space.
Your written contract determines the rights and rules. Read it. If they are in violation, it will describe your remedies.
