Can I sue a company for wrongfully accusing me of stealing, arresting me, and sending me into jail?

If you were convicted, then what part of it was 'wrong'?? Only if the case was completely dismissed, without any plea bargain or conviction, would you have a potential claim for false arrest, etc.
