tenent/ landlord
i kept tenents deposit untill they take me to court. i feel withthe damages they did, and what the estimates came up too they owe me money. am i wrong for holding on to the money she keeps saying she will take us to court but im waiting

In order to 'hold' deposits, the landlord must timely provide an accurate statement of damages, against which he applies the deposit. If more is due for damages, he can sue; if money is left he must return it to the tenant. If they are owed money and you don't timely return it, they can sue for penalties and interest in addition to the money due.
