unequal employement opportunities

Is it legal for a company to discriminate against employees when it comes to new hiring based upon an employee not being bi-lingual? That is one of the questions asked during an interview because they want to establish a 60% spanish office.

Yes, it is legal for a company to establish qualifications of employees to suit the business, including the need to speak languages other than English to conduct business. Welcome to political correctness' consequences.
