Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
In a wrongful death case, where there is a driver of a vehicle, with 4 passengers, 1 passenger is killed, others injured including the driver. When the insureance policy is given at 500K. How would a decision be made on the disbusement of the 500k between the parties? Would the loss of life prefale? All children, 17 years of age.

You're lucky there is such high value insurance, it is not common, but should be. There is NO formula. Disbursement and apportionment will be the primary fight among the parties. Each individual will have their own separate issues and demands, even when it is among family members. It can be settled by informal agreement among ALL parties, by mediation, arbitration or litigation. If serious about getting legal help in this, feel free to contact me.
