You mix your contexts. If you can prove 'wrongful termination' it means the company wasn't justified in firing.

To maintain a wrongful termination suit, the firing must be against Public Policy. Public Policy consists of the Laws and Constitution of the State and United States. Statutes forbid terminating a whistle blower or someone who refuses to break the law. The Constitution forbids firing someone based upon race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, physical disability, ect. This is as a general rule. Better to have your facts analyzed by an attorney.
