Is there a law that someone violets for post your photos for advertising when no longer employed?

Based on "no longer employed," no. However, in California you are not allowed to use someone's likeness (photo) for a commercial purpose without their permission. So unless your previous employer acquired permission from you, you can require them to stop. Should you want to discuss this further, feel free to contact me or an attorney in your area.
