Legal Question in Construction Law in California
Being sued re: Building contractors license
I was mailed a summons copy naming my company with a former company worker. This summons names 50 complaints regarding building a deck for the plaintiffs. The summons refers to this worker on behalf of my company in many complaints. I was not aware of this job in any format. Myself or my company has never had a contract with the plaintiffs . I believe this worker used my building contractors license to do a personal side job. What are my options?

To either resolve the issue yourself by convincing the plaintiff they have the 'wrong guy', or hire an attorney to file appropriate pleadings and motions to get you out of the case as quickly as possible. Feel free to contact for that legal help if you need it, if the case is in SoCal courts.

Where was the lawsuit filed? You'll need to hire an attorney who can practice in that state (AZ or CA?) and hope that he/she can get you out of the case quickly.
