Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
A contract for two party auto repair?
A driver rear ended my car and wants to pay out of pocket for repairs. He has verbally agreed to pay estimated repairs, cost above repairs if deemed necessary by body shop, and rental car for me during the time of repair. Is there a standard two party agreement form beside a promissory note? I, of course will get the contract notarized. Please advise. I'm unable to find a contract on the free legal form web pages.

Re: A contract for two party auto repair?
There is a release you can sign. It releases your claims against him. You would be the one signing it. Otherwise, a contract would work. You may be able to find one in a Nolo Press book, but I do not know of any other sources of free documents like this. If you want to search type in "sample release."
