Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Erroneous Credit Report Info -- Capital One
Capital One credit card company has erroneously reported that I filed for bankruptcy. I have been fighting them for nearly 2 months to get it corrected. After a dozen phone calls and absolutely no progress I'd like to know if I have any legal recourse to force action? This major blemish is destroying my credit history. It has been a huge source of embarrassment, not to mention a huge waste of time. Thanks.
