Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
when i went to the hospital where i had 2 hernia operations-and asked for my medical records --the woman told me that they had been destroyed because the hopital can distroy them after 7 years --is this true or lawful?

I suggest asking the California Medical Board. We do not know the time period required to hold medical records.
