Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Ordered one computer on line, received two computeres
I ordered a computer on-line and requested next day shipping. When it didn't arrive, I called the company and they told me that they needed to cancel the original order and re-order my computer because it was a custom order and could not be shipped over night. I then received two computers in the following weeks. One was a partial order of the original. I did not sign for all of the componants. Some of both computers were just left on my porch. Some by one shipping company, some by the other. I now have a bill for both. And an 'over the credit limit' charge on my bill. What can I do?

Re: Ordered one computer on line, received two computeres
First, you should dispute the bill with your credit card company. Then you should contact the computer company and tell them to come and pick up the equipment to you did not order.
