Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
i have poor credit, i purchased a car from a dealer fully disclosing all my credit issues. the dealer said it would be fine, sold me the car which i've been driving for a few weeks. now, i'm getting calls from the dealer telling me to return the car because the financing fell through do to my bad credit. must i return the car? what are my options? if i was honest about my credit wasn't the dealer acting in bad faith by selling the car to someone who couldn't get a loan approved. iv'e had the car for 3 weeks. does the car dealer have an unlimited time in which to ccancel our deal?

If you want to keep the car, you might hasten to obtain financing on your own. You can't keep something for which you haven't paid. Your keeping the car is contingent on the dealer's ability to obtain a loan for you. Since that has fallen through and you won't be paying for the car, you likely will have to part company.
