Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

Respondeat superior liability; help me understand.

I have a consumer lawsuit going on, & I'm having difficulty finding the agent for service for the parent corp. for 3 different ''funds'' that own 2 other corps that are the wrongdoers in the scenario. I don't know how much or how little the fund managers knew about the wrongdoing of their funded subsidiaries (or whatever you'd call it, it is a limited partnership, where that L.P. in turn wholly-owns another corp that is doing the bidding of the L.P.). Anyway, the funds are: 1) Goldman Sachs' GS Capital Partners 2000 L.P.; 2) Goldman Sachs' Whitehall Street Global Real Estate Limited Partners 2001; and 3) Starwood Capital Group's SOF VI U.S. Holdings, LLC. Here's the real question: Since I have the ''agent for service'' addresses for the two entities that are doing the evil, will will the doctrine of Respondeat Superior mean the financial backers of the two evildoers will automatically be held liable? Yes? No? And must they be served immediately? (And I am short on time to get this lawsuit served -- found more and more evil giving rise to causes of action as I continue to research the matter). Also, its been going on 25 yrs. Would a city govt. involved still be liable for actual $ damages? Antitrust FRAUD involved, only now discovered.

I don't think your big pro per lawsuit is going to get anywhere, but you can look up agents for service of process at ss.ca.gov . Most big corporations use CT Corporation Services.
