Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
im staying in a hotel in Hayward CA. I had paid for another night just an hour befor the hotel manager came into my room uninvited by way of his own key card. My boyfriend n I were having sex facing the door in such a way that the hotel manager could see everything. He walked about 5ft into the room, I screamed, he stood there long enough to say "Im sorry" 3 times than left. I was shocked, you see, we were watching porn & if you stood outside our door you could hear it, and /or hear us. (the room was down a privat hall). That evening I asked him why he entered the room. he said he always does room checks around that time (noon) "in an occupied room?" i countered. he tried to reasure me that all was well. I asked him if he was the Manager or Owner. He said Owner. I left the office. WHAT CAN I DO? Hilda Giangrasso

It seems to have been an invasion of privacy. Have you checked the internet to see if anyone has blogged about similar circumstances at the same hotel?
