Suspended license

My son was driving a company van. He was stopped for a defective headlight, at which time it was realized that the van was uninsured. He recently foud out that his license was suspended because of a failure to appear regarding the insurance issue. Is he respoinsible for insuring a company van?

Re: Suspended license

Your son should not be driving without a valid license, nor should he be driving an uninsured vehicle. He is not responsible for purchasing insurance for his employer's vehicle, but he is responsible if he chooses to drive it without there being proof of valid insurance in the vehicle.

And he needs to quit being a fugitive and show up for his court appearances.
