Tow Company sold my car and changed title without one signature from me
I was involved in an accident and the police towed my car to a Central Towing. After notifiying insurace, they tried to come look at the car inorder to repair or file as totalled. tow company lied repeatedly saying the sent it to the junk yard but could not show papers to prove. after much time and phone calls, dmv told me it had been lein sold. i am still paying for 4 more years on this car. what legal action can i take? much more details, this is the short version.

First, if the vehicle was sold pursuant to a DMV lien, you should have recieved notice prior to the sale. If you did not receive any notice and the tow company engaged in the acts you describe, you may be able to sue them.
You should spend the time, and perhaps the money, to consult with an attorney in your area so that you can completely describe what occurred to see whether or not you have a claim.
