Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Was under 18 at time, now over. Trying to come after me now

I was 16 years old,paying my father for insurance, i was in a accident. It turned out my father didnt or wasnt paying the premiums. I have recieved notifications stating that a lien might be placed upon me and my wages may be garnished. I am now 18 years old.Am i legaly responcible? Do I have to pay the sum of money that the other drivers insurance company is seeking?

Yes, you are stuck with it unless you file a bankruptcy.
