Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Offspring Debts

Son lives at home and we provide food and housing. He has full time job and buys his own clothes, medical coverage (past the age my company will cover him}. He has made a debt, signed contract, and has gotten collection letters regarding it...hasnt paid in over two months. I am a primary care giver because I provide food and shelter. Is there any way at all I can be held accountable for the debt he may be collected upon.
