contract agreement

I was in accident in 2/05 and found liable for 1,600 in damage because the car i was in wasnt insured, the company safeway made a contract for me to pay 75.00 a month..now they tell me there is a 3 year statue of limitation and that if i cant accept there new settlement they may have to take me to small claims court.is this true?

I'm not quite sure what they want from you, as long as you've been paying the $75/month. What do you mean you were "found liable"? Was there a judgment? Feel free to e-mail or fax me the relevant documents to try to understand better what's going on.
