Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

credit card co. sueing me

I answered the judgment, went to court, they law firm representing the card co. had someone show up not from their firm, judge gave 2 dates, one was yesterday, no one showed up from their side, I asked for a dismissal and the judge declined saying he had scheduled a trial. What should I do?

I trust that you had fun playing attorney. Now if you want any chance of reducing your debt via settlement, theb you must prepare for trial. I do not believe that a pro per can competently represent him or her self. It isn't even advisable for an attorney to represent him or her self. Get represented; call me directly.
