Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

payroll advance hell

I have a few payroll advances that I did when I had a financial emergency, but do not have the means to pay them all off now. I just have to keep renewing them, paying the interests. I don't think bankruptcy will help with paying them off. I don't know how to get out of it - any advise is appreciated. Thank you.

Re: payroll advance hell

I see no reason why such debts would not be dischargeable in a bankruptcy. There are other factors to consider in determining whether a bankruptcy would be appropriate for you. However, a payroll advance debt is certainly dischargeable in a bankruptcy. If you would like to telephone me to discuss your situation in more detail, there is no charge for the call.
