There are several possibilities:
1. call creditor and try to settle.
2. file a responsive pleading and incur time and expense of defending lawsuit.
3. file bankruptcy (should be reserved only for last resort)

You need to file a responsive pleading. What responsive pleading depends on a variety of factors. You should consult with an attorney about your specific situation.
