Money ($3,000.00 cash)i borrowed just before my arrest have not been accounted for. On the paper work that they made me sign stated 0 in the cash column. My personal belongings were not written as well nor was my cell phone returned. My car has been impounded and cannot be released until i shoe a current D.Lic.
My bail was set at $20,000.00 for which i feel i could have reduced if they let me use the telephone to call the bail commisioner. by the time police officer noticed me banging for the phone use, she had said, '' you don't need to call because your being bailed out now''. i feel that this case was not handled properly or fairly.

Thank you for your posting. I agree that certain
parts of your case don't seem to have been handled fairly, but how much that affects your overall case would depend on all the evidence for and against you.
I'd strongly suggest you at least meet with an attorney to talk about how best to protect your rights here. You have a criminal case that needs defending, but you also may want to pursue a government claim against the police, if you had any losses due to misconduct.

If your question is the typical "is this legal", the answer is that the outcome of the charges against him depends upon the facts in each case. Whether I say it is legal or not, doesn't change what the DA intends to do. He needs to defend himself. Contact me if interested in hiring counsel to do so.
