$25,000 warrant !!
I have a few year old misdameaner prostitution warrant w 2 FTAs . I am fighting a cps case right now and plan on clearing it ASAP. The warrant is in orange county. When i was to appear in court, i was to bring an aids test back and proof of enrollment in aids awareness classes. I have in my posession both items they want. I was told to clear a warrant i was to show up in orange county and go about asking to clear the warrant . Now , if i go bring thewn these items in person ,is it possible i will b arrested and have to do the time anyway , or will they take the items and let me go home ? I REALLY need to know so that way i can make sure all bills r paid before i go

Can you be arrested? Yes. Will you be? Depends.
If you have an attorney appear for you, and negotiate a deal, then NO, you won't necessarily be taken into custody simply because of the FTA and warrant; I get people's FTA charges resolved with only fines frequently. However, if the charge that the warrant is based on is serious, and calls for jail time as part of any deal, then you have to face the reality that the court is going to want to take you into custody to avoid you running off again. At the minimum, you will have to post bond on the charged offense, so be prepared. If you want to hire OC counsel, contact me.

Yes if you go they can and will take you in to jail. You should have a lawyer go for you to talk to the DA about the charges and maybe have it dropped. Our law office would be more than happy to represent you in this matter. We are probably your best pick. Contact us today at 760.243.5121.
