Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
15 year old broke law
Our son took a parks golf cart and damaged it. Police were called. We payed all damages and Put son in counseling. Now we received paper to appear in court on burglery and grand theft. Is there anything we can do before the initial hearing that will help.

Hire him a lawyer, because records of serious juvenile felonies can't be expunged, and he'll never be able to get a job during his adult life unless you can get the charges reduced.
