Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My 17 year old grandson has been arrested (second time) for stealing (beer) at a convenience store. What can we expect in court as to consequences, and is there anything we can do to alleviate this situation, such as rehab or going to A.A.?

There are several such things you can do, primarily to hire a good attorney and let him advise which would be appropriate in your specific case. The son faces enhanced penalties for a repeat offense.
