Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I have a 3 year informal felony probation that I have served 19 months of. In the past 19 months I have finished an associates degree in computer science. I am a US Veteran(OEF) and have been offered a position at the federal bldg working for the VA. But in order to be taken on as a permanent employee, I can not have any felonies on my record. So the VA suggested I ask to get my probation terminated and than expunged in 12 months. And in the mean time work as an intern for 12 months.

It might be possible to achieve exactly what you want, but it's complicated. It might also be able to be done in a few months, not 12 months (as an intern). I would need more information which you can give me. If you'd like to meet with me to discuss this, give me a call. No charge for the consultation. Good luck. Steve Mandell 310 393 0639

You can NOT expunge felony convictions that include any prison sentencing, whether served or not. If none was sentenced, then feel free to contact me to discuss the rules and cost of seeking expungement.
