18 year old male dating a 16 year old female

what is the law regarding an 18 year old male hanging out at a local high school and sometimes taking a 16 year old female student from school to his house during school hours? sometime he even takes her and her friend to spend the night at his house on the weekends.

There is nothing legally wrong with them dating. (I won't discuss the morals of it.) If you are thinking statutory rape, that would require them to have sexual contact, but if they just "hang out" or date, then that is not a crime.
