Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Abstract of Judgment Prison Commitment-Determinate

My son's Abstract of Judgment Prison Commitment Form has the #4 marked with an X for Deft, sentenced per X PC 667 (b)-(I) or PC 1170.12 (two strikes). This marked and his prison counselor thinks he has two strikes because of it. But his court transcript shows only one prior strike and no new ones and he took a plea bargain with no new strikes. What does this all mean and should we get it corrected and if so how and by whom?

If there is a serious error showing a strike, of course you should get it corrected. You'll have to petition the court for correction. Feel free to contact me if serious about getting legal help doing so.
