Accusations of sexual abuse of a minor by a minor

Our daughter (20 years old) has been accused of sexually abusing a minor 6 years ago. The accuser is now 14 and has told her therapist this. What will happen next and what should our daughter do?

Get a lawyer and quick. You already realize she faces arrest. If convicted, she would be a registered sex offender. Say NOTHING without a lawyer. Prosecutors will be happy to tell you that 95% of people convict themselves trying to 'cooperate' with the investigation. Feel free to contact me if serious about defending this, and maybe even trying to head off prosecution. There are things she can be doing.
