By filing an appropriate notice of appeal, followed up with a properly researched and written appeal Brief, followed by Reply briefs against the opposition that will be filed. Unless you're experienced and effective in legal research, pleadings and representing yourself, hire an attorney to do so.

I agree with Mr. Stone and Mr. Nelson. Note that there are strict deadlines for notices of appeal. If you miss the applicable deadline, your appeal will fail no matter how strong your arguments might be.

You will need a lawyer to represent you on appeal. The law permits you to represent yourself, but you would be foolish to do so. If you are indigent, an attorney will be appointed to represent you at public expense. If you want to hire an attorney, you should feel free to contact me directly.
