When you go to court, if you are not able to afford an attorney, the court will appoint an attorney to represent you. If you are currently out of custody the odds are that you will remain out of custody. If you are in jail you need to talk with your appointed counsel before court tomorrow.

It's not if you plead not guilty.... Plead not guilty.

By now you know the answer and are probably out on OR or bail.
