Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

arrest charges different than filed charges??

ok. my boyfriend got drunk and was stupid and is in jail. the sherrif's website says he is being charged with 12020(A)(4) F PC POSS/MFG/SELL DANG WPN

245(A)(1) F PC ADW O/THAN F/ARM GBI FRC

664/215(A) F PC ATTEMPT CARJACKING

but the cout records website only has 664/215(A) F PC ATTEMPT CARJACKING? i was wondering if that is the only thing he will be charged with and why the websites differ in the charges listed. he does not remember any of it and i think with all the charges he will end up in prison but maybe if its just the one charge he will have less time and maybe only be in county. i'm just really confused and really dont want him to go to prison for something he doesnt even remember doing. he has no priors or anything. i would appreciate any response to this at all. thank you for taking the time to read this, i know its really long but i am a bit stressed right now.

Re: arrest charges different than filed charges??

So, educating you about which charges we guess may or may not be brought against him in court is going to help him how? You can't represent him unless you are an attorney, which doesn't seem to be the case. He needs an attorney that can appropriately defend him against whatever charges are filed. Get him one. Feel free to contact me if interested in retaining someone with experience.
