Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

He got arrest because of POSSESS NARCOTIC CNTL SUB...he is going to get transfer to Los Angeles because a warrant was issue by lapd. He is a illegal migrant used fake papers to work but the rightful owner of the papers was the real one with the charges.
what should be our next step?

The first step is to get a good criminal defense attorney who regularly practices in the court where the case will be heard. If he cannot afford one, one will be appointed at the arraignment. Good luck!
