Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I was arrested and booked in a bar the other night. The person that arrested me was a civillian, a ouncer from a bar. His report does not match what the witnesses say. There was escessive force from them and they started to fight. There was a total of 15 people throwing punches but only I got arrested. I got charged for battery. Can i defend myself criminally and perhaps sue someone civilly?

You didn't get booked in a bar, you got booked in a police station or jailhouse. He wasn't an ouncer, he was a bouncer. You can hire a lawyer to defend you criminally, and to sue someone civilly, or you can do it yourself and lose.
Before you start worrying about suing people, you need to take care of the criminal charges against you. If you're convicted, you aren't going to be suing anybody from jail.
Hire a lawyer for the criminal charges. If you can't afford to hire your own, the judge will appoint one frpm the public defender's office when you go to court.
You can try anything you like. Doing so properly and effectively is a different question. I suggest you hire a criminal defense attorney to keep you from blowing your defense.
