Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I was arrested and charged for domestic violence 2007. I had been working as a security guard up until that time, would this charge prevent me from obtaining a guard card? or any other job?
thank you for your time

It will likely result in a restraining order against you, and that will make you a 'prohibited person', barred from possessing any firearm or ammunition. That will certainly have an impact, eh? IT also is treated by employers much the same as a felony conviction. Most employers won't hire anyone with one. I suggest you get a good attorney to help you.
