Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I was arrested for commercial burgley,I had nothing to do with it.
there are no finger prints,foot prints,stolen property nor witnesses.Just my truck in the area ,The person that I gave a ride to that area told me that he was meeting a friend there .We waited ten of fifteen min or so,I grew impatiant .I had walked across the street to get something to drink leaving him there with my truck.When I was walking back there were police every where.I stayed back and watched ,he was arrested and the cops were stacking out my truck.I was drinking a little that night and did not want to risk a dui.I knew the cops were whating for someone to come back to the truck,so I started walking home. The cops seen me leaving the area on foot and stoped me.they asked for my name and I told them,They said 'we have been looking for you'The person I gave a ride there for told the cops that it was me doing the crime and I was arrested .I'm going to superior court for this what evidance did they have to do that?they towed my truck and I had to come up with a 1000.00 bail.Do they have a case and will I be able to I get my money back for the bail and tow charges?

The proper answer to your question is that you are going to need a good attorney. If you are going to represent yourself, you have a lot of things to learn in a very short time. Get someone local to you, quickly.

You have provided no information upon which a response can be based. You should be able to get a police report, usually from the district attorney, or your attorney. The police report will set forth the information which the police relied to justify their actions.
