Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

i was arrested for petty theft and i'm on probation for embezzlement. also i had a petty theft conviction that was an infraction 4 years ago. i was not given probation for that. my embezzlement conviction was a misdemeanor with summary probation. I have less than a year left on probation. i will do anything and everything to avoid jail time as i have 2 small children and no family or resources to care for them if i'm incarcerated. i am so very ashamed and disgusted over my actions.

Then hire an attorney to represent you in these criminal charges. With priors, you face more likelihood of jail on the current charges. If serious about doing so, feel free to contact me. If you can't afford private counsel, apply to the public defender.
