Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
attempted murder
my cousin was convicted of attempted murder, it was his first offense and he was 20 at the time,
the judge sentenced him to 12yrs to life, after 3yrs it was reduced to 9yrs to life, its now been 18yrs and everyime he comes up for parole the same judge that sentenced him deny's him, he has a good track record in prison and his wife and children has been by his side all this time. Is there anything that can be done or is there any organization that can help bring him home.

He's going to stay in prison until he convinces the parole board he should be let out, based on his behavior and attitude. Hire him an attorney to help at the next parole hearing.
