Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My attorney keeps teling me not to worry about three charges that I've been arraigned for..CA Pc 550 a1, PC 550 b1, PC 148.5..He says he is positive that it will not go to trial.

You paid your attorney lots of money for his legal advice, and he told you not to worry about it. I should tell you not to worry about it for free?
I'm never positive a case won't go to trial, however statistically only a small percentage of cases go to trial. I would be more concerned about the ultimite resolution of your case as the vast majority of cases settle by way of a plea bargain. You should talk to your attorney about the stengths and weaknesses of your case and evaluate whar are the likely resolutions. I wish you well...David Wallin

It probably won't. Most cases [96% or more] are plea bargained. No body said you're going to like the deal offered.
