If i plead no contest then does that mean it wont be on my backround because i didnt plead guilty

Nice try. A no contest plea results in a conviction which is what the record will show.

Pleading "no contest" is the same as pleading "guilty" except that the "no contest" plea can't be used against you in a civil action whereas a guilty plea can be.
