Battery Question
I was arrested 3 years ago for Battery, but never convicted. Can it be possible to have this arrest erased from my record?

Re: Battery Question
Arrests remain on in the local and national databases regarding criminal convictions and arrests. If you were never convicted, simply arrested and released without further court proceeding, the arrest is not something you have to disclose to anyone under California law. Other states may differ. But these lawenforcement databases track all arrests regardless of disposition. Even if you were arrested, went to trial and were acquitted, the arrest would remain in the database.
