Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

my boyfriend was arrested last wednesday for no reason at all, but when they ran his name warrants popped up for some cases he caught 4 years ago. one was for pocession of marijuana for sales and the other was for driving with a suspended license and had literally a half of joint on him. now for the sales case he got 180 days which he did only 16 days and they gave him 3 years probabtion where he checks into a machine. the next case they gave him narcotics anonymous, he never came back to turn those in and for his probabtion this would be a violation...now he hasn't checked in to probation in like 3 years. so now its 4 years later and he hasnt gotten in trouble since those happened....what is he looking at with these situations? he goes to court thursday

He could get anything up to the maximum sentence for his convictions, minus credit for the time he has already served. On the possession for sale case, that would be three years. Driving on a suspended license is a misdemeanor that usually carries a one year maximum; if he was sentenced to prison on the drug charges, it would probably run concurrent to his prison sentence.
