Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My now ex boyfriend put a keylogger on my computer without my knowledge. I recently found out when he forwarded a copy of what i typed. It scares me to think that he has done this and I would like to take legal action. Is there anything I can do at this point?

It could be considered an invasion of privacy and, perhaps, violation of state and federal telecommunication laws. Since you asked about criminal law, you might speak with law enforcement to determine what, if anything, you can do in that regard. Depending on the content of his message to you containing the copy of what you typed, you might also seek a civil harassment restraining order if you fear for your personal safety.
