Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My brother was arrested in 2000 and recieved a sentence of 24 years. my questions now that i am older is it possible to hire an attorney to get the sentence reduced after all of this time. our two brothers passed away within the last year and our mother isnt in the best of health.
my brother commited a robbery and i have a cousin who committed a murder that only recieved 15 years...so could you please help me to stop trying to figure out away to get my brother released...my brother was 20 years old at the time of sentence and he is now 33 years old and much wiser....please help!

The case is over. You don't get 'do overs'. Nor do you get sentences changed or reduced after the fact. The only hope for him is a parole hearing that goes well, or luck of the draw with Corrections Dept decisions on releasing supposedly non-violent inmates due to court orders on overcrowding.
