Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

My Brother

Hi my brother was told these were the charges against him. However we know for sure he does not have any priors. Someone has his name.

What do we do? This also a 1st time offense.

12025(A)(1) F PC CCW/VEHICLE W/PRI FELONY

12031(A)(1) F PC CARRY LOAD F/ARM PUB PLA

245(A)(1) F PC ASSAULT W/ DEADLY WEAPON

12020(A)(1) F PC POSS/MFG/SELL DANG WPN

417(A)(1) M PC EXH DLY WPN O/THAN F/ARM

HE sorts it out through his attorney and the DA in court. IF he can show any claimed priors are not his, mistakes on rap sheets and records do happen, then he'll face only the current charges without 'priors enhancement'. If he is serious about hiring counsel to help him, feel free to contact me.

Fingerprints should clear up the priors if the lawyer he hires is any good. Even if he doesn't have the priors, these are serious charges. Are you seeking legal representation?

Get a lawyer involved as soon as possible, to get in touch with the investigators and/or prosecution. Perhaps at least some of the charges could still be avoided.
