Burgarly 1st degree

I was convicted of 1st degree Burgarly and I did a county year and 3 years probation and I completed the 3 years. Now I am off probatin and I want to see if my charge can be reduced to a misdomeaner. My atternoy told me that 1st degree Burgarly can not be reduced, is this true? Would it be a good ieda to get it exsponged? What is the difference between exsponged and getting it reduced. I am trying to get my lisence in real-estate apparsil and I can not get it if I have a felony on my record.

Re: Burgarly 1st degree

You may be able to get the conviction expunged, since you did not do prison time. However, even if expunged, you have to disclose it on any application to goverment agencies for licenses, security clearances, etc. They will decide whether it bars you from employment. Expungement will allow you to say 'no' on applications to most prospective employers. Contact me if interested in getting it done.

Re: Burgarly 1st degree

1st degree burglary is a felony, only those crimes that are punishable as wither a felony or misdemeanor can be reduced to a misdemeanor if a county jail sentence is imposed.
