Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

If I was to buy a form that my friend needed to fill out, he called it a writ form people vs. reed. Which one would I need and would it come with directions. I have checked over 500 forms and I'm still at a loss. Please help me.

You keep asking about a writ and forms. A writ is not a simple form. There are several kinds of writs. None are simple check off forms.

There is no standard form for the kind of document your friend wants. It must instead be specially drafted. That is true of many types of legal documents. There are a lot of standard forms, but there are also a lot of things they don't cover.

Nice try, no brass ring. Blank writ form? That is a sheet of white paper. A Writ is a individually drafted pleading containing all the factual and legal arguments in support of the described request for court action.

Again, you need a petition for a writ, not the writ. The court issues the writ.
