ca 11550a
I was a passenger in a car got pulled over driver was on parole and there was a meth pipe in car I said it was mine. The cops said I was under the influence arrestted me and said I would be held for 6 hours. when I got to the jail the fingerprint guy said I looked and acted normal they gave me blood test and released me in under 2 hours. I went to court on my court and no charges were filed but then 2 months later the DA filed charges. I have no other drug convitions on my record and I had used the day before what are my chances? Is there any way to beat these charges?

"Beat" your confession? IF you have grounds for any evidence suppression motions, that will be how you do so. If this is in SoCal courts, and if you're serious about hiring counsel to get the legal help you'll need, feel free to contact me.

Your best bet would have been to keep your mouth shut during the traffic stop. Since you didn't do that, you're in a difficult position. The smartest thing you can do now is to hire the best lawyer you can.

I'm sorry, but it will take a lot more information to answer your question. If your case is in Northern California, you can give me a call for a free consultation. I can see a couple of issues that may help you.

There are lots of ways to beat, or otherwise soften the blow of, any given set of criminal charges. Your lawyer only needs to find one way out. You can and must fight the charges against you with every core of your being. In this highly computerized era, any kind of record can haunt you forever.
